TEMSA and ASELSAN developed the first 100% domestic electric bus in the Turkish automotive industry, Avenue EV; Akım Metal took part in this project.
At the press conference held in Sabancı Center on December 7, the distinguishing features of Avenue EV were introduced.
With this new project, Akım Metal has made a significant success in the launch. The EV motor of the Avenue EV, developed in coordination with Aselsan and Dr Metin Aydın (MDS Motor) from Kocaeli University, Akım Metal also added its manufacturing expertise. In addition, Akım Metal was the first company to produce special high power electric motors for bus applications in Turkey.
